PSYBLINGS

PSYBLINGS are a brand new psych-rock band hailing from Manchester. The five members are housemates and spend most of their time together. In this time, they write songs with a mixture of heavy blues, psychedelic rock and grunge to create a fusion of all the music they love.Imagine The Strokes mixed with The Stooges and Hawkwind, their sound wholly unclean in the best possible way.

They play a free gig at the Night & Day Cafe 27th December.

Fear The Fallen

Hard rock monsters Fear The Fallen, who earned themselves a place at this year's Festwich through the battle of the bands competition at Rebellion (with our Editor Phil Weller on the judging panel), have just dropped a new video. Their live performances have always been full of energy, class and grit and Voices continue in exactly the same vein. Big riffs, massive vocals and oodles of melody - the bridge full of dirty harmonics too - this is another fine offering from the band with a killer video to boot.

Brave The North

Drawing from the likes of Biffy Clyro, Twin Atlantic and Fatherson, this Mancunian four piece deliver swaggering yet tranquil alt-rock nicely. They launched their new four track EP, Fifteen at Kraak in June, which you can check out here.

It's also available as a free download via their Soundcloud Page, so you have no excuse not to give them a chance and support local music.
