Invite to a Piss Up In a Brewery....
It turns out you can have a piss up in a brewery... and Taylor and the Mason are doing just that to launch their debut album and YOU are invited!!
Taylor and the Mason would be honoured if you could come join their party at THE FIRST CHOP BREWING ARM where they'll be playing songs from their album along with a few T&M HITS and their own full eight piece band.
Music's finest duo since Oxide and Neutrino packed it in (don't look them up, just trust me), Taylor & the Mason are two lovely ladies from Manchester who have a strong interest in good harmonies, playing guitars, and drinking gin... and beer too! Yes, there is a specially brewed Taylor and the Mason beer, a pale ale. And of course Manchester Rocks will be there to "test" the beer to make sure it is consumable; we may have to test it many times but we are sure you will understand that we take food safety testing VERY seriously... hic!
Becky Taylor and Sally Mason are long standing features of Manchester’s music circuit and have created an energetic and distinctive acoustic live act. At their debut album launch, they are proud to introduce their full band, made up of their favourite musicians Lorna Blundell (drums) Stephen Sarsen (Bass) Tanah Stevens (Viola) Bob Goodman (Violin) Liz Pauline (B/V) and Corin Travis (B/V).
Their debut album is a dynamic production, recorded and mixed by The Travelling Band’s Adam and Jo at Pinhole Studio. It features the both the full band, the rich, vibrant sound of their voices, and the duo in their stripped back acoustic finery. Their close-nit harmonies, chiming guitars and delicate melodies compliment their heartfelt songs.
Support will be provided by Poppycock plus very special guest Stephen Ballinger.
Food, snackettes and the specially brewed T&M BEER will be available AND a pumping DJ will be on until late for those who fancy having a boogie with them afterwards!
Tickets for this very special event are £6 advance (see link below) or £8 on the door.
